The purpose of this site is to explore questions about thinking, teaching, and learning sustainability within the classroom.
The assumptions here are:
All of the easy questions have been answered; the remaining questions involve complex systems, decisions, and predictions.
Secondly, the standard, expert-centric or item-centric, approach is not particularly effective in helping people learn about sustainability.
There is hope; environmental science and sustainability are not all gloom and doom. Many of the sustainability issues can be addressed and ameliorated to a greater or lesser degree. Humans are not helpless.
